James Burton Golf School
Our golf professional, James Burton, has been at Cambridge Lakes since 2002.
James is a Master Teaching professional with The European Golf Teachers Federation & completed his Diploma, Advanced & Masters Certificates in 2001, 2003 & 2006 respectively.

James runs a very busy junior programme throughout the year including regular competitions, an inter schools shield, an HSBC Wee Wonders qualifying event, group lessons for local schools & 4 levels of skill challenges ranging from bronze to platinum.

The Explanar Golf Training & Fitness System – as used by 3 of the World’s top coaches - Butch Harmon, Pete Cowen & Jim McLean – in their golf schools to help pupils feel the correct swing motion
The Quintic Coaching Video Analysis Software - developed by Dr. Paul Hurrion, biomechanics coach to many top sportsmen including Open Champion Padraig Harrington. This software enables pupils to focus on the key areas for improvement & to see their swings improve over time.
